Imagine your own Taos Style adobe casita near the lovely Rio Pueblo river which starts at the famous Taos Mountain and runs south into the Rio Grande.
Enjoy big blue skies and mountain views through each window of your cozy Taos green home. Be part of a small community of like minded, earth friendly people interested in sustainable green home design features.
The Rio Pueblo Adobe Casitas are only 15 minutes from Town of Taos for shopping and community events, but offers quiet solitude because of its distance from busy streets.
Each stand-alone adobe casita enjoys its own exclusive use area surrounding the perimeter of the building and also the wide open common areas, which may be used for organic gardening, picnicing, and sports activities.
This Taos real estate project is envisioned by Dahvee Haley and Jeanette Monosoff, PhD as a sanctuary from the busyness of everyday life. Each traditional adobe casita is comfortable and charming with new standard green features oriented for solar gain and privacy. We hope you enjoy our Taos Rio Pueblo Adobe Casitas website.

WHO LIVES AT THE RIO PUEBLO CASITAS?
Already, five casitas have been sold to those who fell in love with Taos long ago or
have newly discovered the Land of Enchantment in Northern New Mexico.
Our new pioneering residents are
from the East coast and the hot Arizona desert.
Of the five casitas sold, two have full time residents.
One casita is home to a family with a four year old son.
This enterprising couple brought their internet business with them and
thus, are able to live and work in a stunningly beautiful setting
and earn their livelihood via the air waves.
A child's jungle gym was installed for this young resident's recreation
when it will be too cold for a daily swim in the Rio Pueblo.
The other full time homeowner is a retired school teacher
who knew it was time to do something for herself. So, she moved to Taos.
The other three casitas are owned by part time residents who visit Taos every three or four months.
They rent their casitas out short or long term to vacationers during the other times.
Some come to get away from their busy life in
the various cities of Maryland, Arizona, and North Carolina to
bask in the quiet of the Rio Pueblo and enjoy reading, quiet contemplation,
taking art classes and out-door painting,
writing the great American novel and inspired poetry,
or playing tourist and enjoying the many many fabulous shops and restaurants in downtown Taos.
Others use their casita as base camp for exploring the various attractions of Northern New Mexico,
such as the listening to World Class Opera each summer at the Santa Fe Opera,
rafting down the nearby Rio Grand River or Chama River,
First Class skiing, and now snow boarding, at Taos Ski Valley,
fabulous mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, and fall weather ballooning,
visiting museums of historical note such as the
Millicent Rogers Museum and the Fetchin Museums in Taos,
following the footsteps of Georgia O'Keefe and visit the Ghost Ranch in Abiqui
and her Art Museum in Santa Fe,
making an all day visit to Museum Hill in Santa Fe to visit the International Folk Art Museum,
the Native American Museum and the History Museum,
hiking in Bandelier Park and Puye Cliff Dwellings near Espanola,
stopping for healing at the Chimayo Santuario which has been known for millenium
for its healing properties, or soaking at Ojo Caliente Mineral Pools.
There is never enough time to visit all there is to see in Northern New Mexico,
unless of course you live here, or keep coming back again and again.
Having a casita in a safe neighborhood, with interesting and community minded neighbors,
on a dead end road, with very little car traffic,
allows one to have a secure and comfortable home in this very special Land of Enchantment.
We are seeking Earth and Life friendly individuals who appreciate beauty, serenity, and a small intentionally-happy community of people that love Taos New Mexico. Rio Pueblo Adobe Casitas benefits from being a condominium of separate stand alone dwellings, protected by intelligent covenants which ensure the beauty and attractive nature of this community of well designed adobe casitas.
